Word Retrieval

 I’m very open about my mental health and physical health struggles, I’ve got a long list of medications that many in this town would say I should replace with a hike in the woods or as one emergency room dr told me when I was in the ER for an aneurysm/migraine “have you tried a cup of coffee?” but I keep taking them because I have two amazing boys who are my team but I’m the coach and I have to stick around for them and the meds help me want to do that.

One of the problems with both the health issues and the medications is that they impair my memory and I’m not always able to remember the words I am trying to use the way that I used to. So now I write a lot but mostly I write long text messages to friends (and acquaintances who I hope might not judge me too hard for my crazy) but sometimes I feel like they should have the option of maybe NOT reading the novels that I send them. So now I’m going to try and put those novels here. And the nice thing about this is that I have time to google until I find the word I’m looking for unlike at work when I have to scramble to find other words to describe simple objects and they look at me like they aren’t quite sure I should be the Communications Coordinator.

I will also be able to look back and make sure I’m not repeating a story. Because damn, I sure have become a repeater.
